1. Information We Collect

We collect user data solely to fulfill orders and communicate essential updates. To facilitate guest checkouts and deliver your activewear, Valkex collects the following essential details:

  • Identity Data: Full name, email address, and WhatsApp number.
  • Transaction Data: Cart items, order amounts, and payment references (processed securely via Razorpay tokenized endpoints).
  • Delivery Data: Shipping address, city, state, and PIN code serviceable by our logistics partners.

2. Secure Transactions & Payment Ledger

Payment credentials are never stored on our servers. All card transactions and gateway communications are encrypted and processed directly by Razorpay. Order records and transaction signatures are stored securely in our PostgreSQL database.

3. Telemetry & System Log Pruning

To maintain platform integrity and protect against security threats, our system automatically manages technical logs:

  • Database audit logs (order actions and administrative changes) are automatically pruned to retain only 14 days of history.
  • Server-side diagnostic logs are retained for a maximum of 30 days before being permanently deleted by automated background jobs.

4. Secure Cookie Sessions & Preferences

We use secure cookie-based session identifiers to manage your active shopping cart, wishlist items, and recently viewed products. Client theme preferences (Light vs. Dark mode) are stored in local browser storage and remain strictly on your device for an enhanced interface experience.

5. Communication Preferences

Account-related notifications (purchase receipts, payment confirmations, and delivery tracking updates) are sent automatically to the email address and phone number provided at checkout. We will never send unsolicited promotional spam.

6. User Rights

You retain full control over your personal data. In alignment with consumer privacy standards, you can contact us at any time to request a copy of your transaction history or to request the complete deletion of your guest checkout records from our database.
